Where vision

meets legacy

The Bargate Quarter regeneration brings Southampton's history to life through several thoughtful projects. These include the Bargate Information Panel, Glass Screens highlighting the missing Old Town Walls, and the Balustrade, which traces medieval trade routes. Feature Paving and Roundels honour medieval artisans, while the Polymond Garden Screen captures more recent history including WWII imagery. The Artwork Structure – 'Back of the Walls' marks the missing eastern wall with a dynamic, ever-changing design.
